Swimming Around the World with my GoPro

Swimming Around the World with our GoPro

When we started travelling, Joel and I would just take the GoPro and mess around with footage. We never planned anything, just wanted to play in water and have some fun with it. We started to just take the GoPro out everywhere there was water, whether we were in the ocean or a pool. Over time I figured why not get a collection of the same type of shots because who knows :) It was really only after a couple years that I even began to even look through all the footage we shot. Going through it, we found so much fun stuff and I decided I would do something with it. We hadn't shot anything with purpose so it was a great exercise in putting together themes and similarities. I am so pleased about how well it all turned out. So here it is: a fun little video from all the GoPro footage we had of us swimming our way around the world. I hope you enjoy!

Here's a List of all all the places we went swimming with our GoPro!

Hong Kong, China

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Bali, Indonesia

Marietas Islands, Mexico

Sayulita, Mexico

Punta Mita, Mexico

One of the Cenotes in Tulum, Mexico

Red Rocks in Santa Barbara, CA, USA

Baja California, Mexico

If you're interested in any other fun videos check out this video from several years back of travelling through Europe. My sister shot the whole thing using her 8mm iphone app and I edited it! Find it HERE!

Sagres is isolated enough where there are tourists but it’s off the beaten track. This is the cliff we saw the private beach down below that we decided what the hell, let’s climb down and hang out right under a Fort on a cliff from the 15
On the edge of Europe. One of the windiest and beautiful cliffs I’ve been on
Lisbon is so magical because of all the hills, colours, and tile
I used to think I liked the mountains but I think I’m really a coastal girl
